To kick off the non-stop action at the US Open which begins in Flushing Meadows, New York today, the annual Taste of Tennis event at Cipriani's in Manhattan brought together professional tennis players, celebrities and familiar faces in the sport for a match made in culinary heaven last Thursday. One attendee, Volkl VIP and NYC-based teaching pro Marina Oetiker, enjoyed a libation created by the dynamic duo of actress Eva Longoria and Grand Slam champion Garbine Muguruza (the two women are co-investors of the tequila brand Casa Del Sol). The beverage Marina tried rivals that of the famed 'Honey Deuce'. Nonetheless, cheers to the US Open and to a fantastic fortnight of tennis ahead!
